Scope and contact
This policy covers the Rimiya New Materials website and enquiries initiated through the contact details it displays. For personal information enquiries, write to contact@rimiyafr.com. The operator’s legal identity must still be completed in the Legal Notice.
Information involved
- Browsing: the current pages have no account registration, online contact form, payment facility or audience analytics tool. You can browse products without entering personal information.
- Contacting us: an email or telephone enquiry may include the contact details, name, organisation, message and attachments you choose to provide. Email links open your mail application; you decide whether to send a message. Please supply only information needed for your enquiry.
- Technical access records: when the website is hosted, its provider may process IP addresses, request times, pages requested and browser information for service delivery and security. The actual scope and retention must be confirmed against the hosting configuration.
Purposes and grounds for processing
Enquiry details are used to respond to product, material-selection, customisation and partnership questions. Requests for quotations or contracts are handled on the basis of steps taken at your request before a contract; other business enquiries rely on the legitimate interest in responding and conducting ordinary business communications. Necessary technical records support website operation and security. Browsing does not automatically subscribe you to mailings or create an advertising profile.
Recipients and retention
Access should be limited to staff handling the enquiry and the email or hosting providers needed to deliver the relevant services, according to their roles. Enquiries are retained for their resolution and necessary follow-up. Contractual matters, legal obligations or disputes may justify further retention. Information that is no longer needed and is not subject to a retention obligation should be deleted or anonymised.
The hosting and email providers, storage locations, technical-log retention and any transfers outside the European Economic Area remain to be confirmed. If such transfers occur, their destinations and applicable safeguards must be identified and this policy updated before publication.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for a particular activity. Send requests to contact@rimiyafr.com; only information necessary to verify your identity should be requested. You may also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or another competent supervisory authority.
Cookies and policy updates
The current website pages do not use analytics or advertising cookies. See Cookie Management for details and browser controls. This policy will be updated when contact details, website features or data-handling practices change.
